After being Highly Commended for Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth’s Young Professional of the year by Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce in January, Hannah Montgomery (Our Managing Consultant) was invited by the award sponsor South Staffordshire College to present to their business and marketing students across National Careers Week CIC.
After presenting to students at both the Tamworth and Lichfield campus’s, she was blown away with some of the debates and discussion pieces some of the students were putting forward. If you are a local business and you want to give something back Hannah would definitely recommend spending an hour of your time to go and support the students.
Hannah delivered an interactive session on how she supported a company to form and launch at Reading Festival 2019 in under 9 months – including an appearance on Dragon’s Den. She even took our signature gold biscuits to encourage questions from the students.
We caught up with Hannah and this is what she had to say:
‘As a Lichfield girl born and bred, I genuinely LOVE working and supporting people and businesses in the region. I am excited to come and have some interactive learning sessions with the students at South Staffordshire College. We are going to go through how a great idea and clever marketing strategy took a product and service from a mere seed of an idea to launching with Reading Festival with support of the BBC, Boohoo.com and Crisis in just 10 months.’
Jo George who is the Curriculum Manager for Business said that: ‘Hannah’s experience and enthusiasm has inspired our Business students across Tamworth and Lichfield Campuses. She has provided valuable insight into the world of business and her experience’.
