Eighteen businesses and four young professionals were vying for top honours at the 2020 Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth Chambers of Commerce annual dinner and awards. Five main awards – including a new Young Professional of the Year category – were handed out at The Belfry Hotel & Resort.
Around 250 people attended the black-tie event which celebrates the success of businesses across Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth.
The shortlist was chosen by Diane Rance (Creating Value With People/Chamber Council), Jaccy Datta (Santander/Future Faces vice president), Chris Wheeler (Auditel/Cannock Chase Chamber vice-president) and chair of the judging panel Shakir Whayeb, director of IT and Corporate Services at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.
Shakir said: “The high quality of applicants inspired our judges and left them with an optimistic outlook for the future of our region and community.
“Conversely, judges had the difficult task of whittling down the entries and shortlisting businesses in more than one category.”
We are immensely proud to say that during the sell-out event, Hannah (our MD) was Highly Commended for Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth’s Young Professional of the year by Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.
We caught up with Hannah and this is what she had to say:
“As a Lichfield girl born and bred, I genuinely LOVE working and supporting clients in the region. Without fab clients, we wouldn’t produce golddust results – it’s a team thing! I’m so proud to have even been selected as a finalist for the Young Professional of the Year. And even more grateful to still be considered a “young” professional!”
